This event warning has been appearing since day one of connectoin my notebook. BTW, there is an error in the Lenovo Installation Script File, which is run from a Command-prompt – Even though you are running from command prompt in administrator mode, the batch file doesn’t know where to go find the FWUpdlc1. If you’re prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

No change whatsoever as Loost am still receiving the same Event ID. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling LMS driver with no luck. This will not solve anything since the notebook is brand new and I have been receiving this Event ID warning since the beginning.
In reply to magistermastellus’s post on December 18, I swapped the SSD for a spare hard drive; and the install worked – which Follow these steps to uninstall the drivers: It was failing to partition the liteon SSD to start the windows install: Have no idea what to do.

Pardon my ignorance, but can I go into device manager, try uninstalling the “Intel R Management Engine Interface” and then re-installing it from there?

I have the same issue. I thought I would return the I have a HP G62 notebook about 1. This thread is locked.
Please let me know if intekr can think of anything else or if you are able to provide a link to newer intel drivers that I should use.
