Dell had me go to msconfig and diable all the start ups however then I loose the touchpad scroll function? Others have said that will not work either and get the new apoiint.exe and an older one and copy the C: Between step 6 and 7, running Autoruns to see if the list shows any “File not found” entries and removing them as well might be a good idea but for now, I will just mention it as a side note if the above doesn’t resolve the issue.
